As I sit by myself wondering if the night would ever end
Thoughts of wilderness run free over the flashes of memories of the past.
Truth revealed and facts sealed tightly where air can’t pass by
The lights go off and it all seems like just the beginning.
The barking of the dogs goes louder and now they howl to make it better
The grown up hounds can see the silence of the rocks that we seem to miss on.
Seldom is heard the cries of the dead to the one willing to hear the call so deep
The skies grow grey and the smog traps all the lights that are now forbidden.
The insane tremors that are felt on the mountains and seas and the beyond
The shattering window panes turn noisy as the winds start to change with every second of the night.
The peeling off paint from the ceiling starts to chip off in larger chunks as compared to an afternoon
The feelings go creepy as the silence starts to speak words we don’t even understand.
The clock starts ticking and the silence broken each second that we listen closely
Then it stops and that’s when we actually begin to worry.
Is it the coming of a new visitor at that time of the night, or just a thought that we are being visited?
Let loose all emotions and wonder why things are so amazingly beautiful for that time of the night.
The doors ajar creates a sense of fear in our heart and mind and everything we the helps sense
The room starts glowing with the light spread out by the moon’s grace.
Lit up just enough to see who the new visitor we have this day or let me just say night.
