The more I think, the more I end up imagining- the lies that have taken me to the heights of success and the back stabbing involved in achieving a promotion. That is actually the beauty of the so called Corporate life.
The Cut throat competition that drives everyone mad and everybody tries to bring the other down with an intention to overtake, not bothered of the so called ethics that should be governing our lives!!Ethically right is a long gone practice that maybe has been buried ages ago.When we look at somebody in the eye; little do they have the courage and the innocence to look back at you and greet you- not because they are busy, but because at some point of time they may have done something that may have brought you down- and you are simply un aware of it. The guilt pricks hard and the eyes show it all. maybe at some point of time you may have lived the best days with the person.
This is what corporate life demands you to be. You are not supposed to trust your own shadow lest it should betray you someday. The walls develop ears and the table have grown eyes. You have to keep it to yourself until the time comes for you to open up and announce and ensure your plan is not robbed away before you let it out. Safeguard your ideas and protect them more than your earnings, because they will make you a millionaire and not the promises of this wage world.
No one can promise you anything and if they happen to do they must be "GOD"It is easy to go along provided you adhere to policies and the tricks of the trade. You have to have emotionless thoughts and a heart of stone. for only then would you be able to grow since you would need to backstab someone in the process. The human soul is selfish and in this we fail to forget the different values that have been bestowed up on us by our elders. All that stays back that has been implanted is, DO WELL. To get to the DO WELL level..there is no second thoughts, nor regrets.The more you bury your emotions; the better you fair in this competition.. So hold on and watch, the day is not far when the Father stabs the son and so on. And behold the world will then experience a new transformation - From Humans to Hudemons..!!..
